In today’s digital-centric world, the firm recognized the necessity of a professionally designed website to reflect its professional services and international stature. An exceptional website was not just a requirement but a strategic move, ensuring their global clientele would encounter an online presence befitting the firm’s expertise and dedication. Understanding the importance of the work, the law firm’s management team embarked on a worldwide search for a design partner and, after rigorous analysis, eventually decided to choose Smotrow Design, entrusting their vision for a website echoing their global expertise and dedication.
As a result of our partnership, we have successfully created and launched the new corporate website of Andoni Law & Tax, now available at www.andonilaw.com.
Innovating in the legal field
Designing a website for a law firm involves adhering to strict market standards and meeting long-established client expectations. Simultaneously, to distinguish our client’s website from other legal companies and establish a unique brand on a global market, we must introduce innovative ideas, demonstrating the audacity to redefine rules. Balancing innovation with appropriateness presented the primary challenge for us at Smotrow Design during the creation of Andoni Law & Tax’s new corporate website.
Typefaces
The first main goal was to find a typeface combination that would look both innovative and conservative, preserving our striving to deliver a professional website. After lots of experiments and research, we decided to use Financier Display as our primary corporate typeface, and Proxima Nova for the body texts.
The blend of Financier Display and Proxima Nova in our design provides a striking balance between elegance and functionality. Financier Display, with its polished, authoritative presence, exudes a corporate aesthetic, while Proxima Nova complements it with its versatile, modern simplicity, enhancing readability across different digital contexts.
Color palette
Selecting the color palette was a meticulous process rooted in the drive to reflect Andoni Law & Tax’s unique brand identity and stand out in the digital space. We eventually settled on a striking shade of green, dubbed “ALT Green” (#418D5F), as our primary color.
This color represents growth, harmony, and freshness – values that align with the firm’s innovative and client-focused approach. We then explored various hues of ALT Green, seeking to create dynamic compositions that would captivate visitors while maintaining a unified visual identity. This detailed exploration allowed us to curate a modern, cohesive color scheme that not only enhances user experience but also encapsulates the vibrant essence of Andoni Law & Tax.
Structure
In crafting the architecture of the website, our prime objective was to ensure seamless navigation and intuitiveness, making every interaction straightforward and rewarding for the user.
Guided by the principle of a ‘no dead ends’ approach, we meticulously designed the website’s structure to foster a cyclical flow of information and connectivity. Each page is conceived not as an isolated entity, but as a component of a larger, interconnected whole. This approach ensures a cohesive journey throughout the website, creating a fluid and user-centric experience that allows visitors to effortlessly explore the full breadth of Andoni Law & Tax’s services and materials.
