Smotrow Design has been honored to collaborate with AVELLUM in the creation of the firm’s new corporate website, which accurately reflects its vision for the next decade. Our team has worked closely with the AVELLUM team to create an elegant, unique, and visually structured product that professionally presents the firm online and helps build lasting relationships with clients. Identifying the Challenges
We were tasked to redesign AVELLUM’s existing website, which was good in the past but had many inconsistencies and poor navigation modules. And in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, the user experience is paramount, and an outdated website can have a detrimental impact on a company’s online presence and reputation. The website had numerous issues, including poor searchability of services, excessive scrolling requirements, non-optimal display of publications, which were opened in a pop-up window, negatively impacting both SEO and user experience, and lots of other minor bugs and errors.

The Website Redesign
We focused on creating a clean, modern look that would align with their brand identity and values.
One of the first steps in the process was to develop a color palette that would align with the firm’s identity. The corporate purple, a signature color that AVELLUM has used for many years, was taken as a basis. Using purple as the primary color helped us create a cohesive and professional look while also giving it a distinct visual identity.
To improve the user experience, we created an easy-to-use navigation system that simplified finding the information users sought. It featured AVELLUM’s core services and was organized logically and intuitively. In addition, the team created a search function that allowed visitors to find the information they needed in a few clicks.
Developing professional and comprehensive service pages was a key aspect of the redesign. Our goal was to create a structure that would be informative and engaging, helping potential clients to easily understand the various services offered by the firm. To achieve this, we worked hard to develop a clear and intuitive layout that would be seamlessly interlinked with other objects on the website.
Each service page was meticulously designed with a minimal interface, allowing visitors to focus on the content without distractions. We made sure to incorporate striking visuals and engaging copy to create an immersive user experience.
